The hotel, situated on the south side of Tudor Square, has the proud history of being the Tenby home of Sir William Paxton who was largely responsible for developing the town into the tourist destination it has become today. Tenby House has 18 tastefully decorated and comfortable ensuite rooms. Unfortunately we do not have any ground floor bedrooms.All bedrooms are non smoking. Some bedrooms have the advantage of having their own balcony - some over Tudor Square, and some overlooking the courtyard.The busy bars serve meals daily, and provide late night entertainment every weekend with our resident DJ playing to locals and visitors to Tenby. Paxton's Bistro is a gem waiting to be discovered through the courtyard of Tenby House Hotel and serves Pembrokeshire produce, locally caught fish and seafood and Welsh Black beef. Paxton's can be reserved for private parties, Weddings, Christenings and birthday parties.
Our Chefs' - Penson and Toe - are local boys, well respected in the town and they will be pleased to prepare something special if a guest has a particular request. Children are always made welcome, and we have a Games Room in the courtyard so parents may sit outside comfortably and know that children are safe within the courtyard. All the public areas, outside and the bars,together with Paxton's Bistro are accessible by wheelchair users.Lesley Fisher and children - Martyn and Kelly, together with the staff give a warm welcome to all.
