The historic town of Pembroke and it's lovely Norman castle is only a five minute walk, the mill pond and its wildlife only 500 yards.

Littlegates Cottage is situated on the edge of a small nature reserve with many different breeds of bird and wildlife to be found here. Guests can enjoy a nice walk around the nature reserve known as the boardwalk!

Pembroke Castle is a must see for visitors to the area. Pembroke town has many good restaurants and cafes and with an Art Galleries and souvenir shops there is sure to be something to suit everyone's tastes.

The nearest beach just a short drive of 2 1/2 miles, here the coastal path can be easily accessed at Freshwater East. Beautiful Bosherston village and famous Lily ponds are 5 miles from Littlegates Cottage as are the stunning sights of the Green Bridge of Wales and Stack Rocks, both natural Limestone arches jutting dramatically out of the sea at St Govans.

Rock climbing is very popular in this area and St Govans has some of the best climbs in the UK. The diminutive St Govans Chapel is a never to be missed opportunity to see a 6th century chapel which has been built in a precarious position at the bottom of the cliffs.

The seaside town of Tenby is 10 miles East of Pembroke and Saundersfoot just 12 miles East of Pembroke. The famous "smallest City in Great Britain" St Davids with it's imposing Cathedral is 30 miles north of Pembroke and is a recommended must see whilst holidaying in the area.
