Skomer Island is an excellent location to escape for a short break. Whether you are looking for spectacular wildlife, amazing scenery or peace and tranquility, you will find it all here. You will certainly feel like you have got away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland and feel truly relaxed.

The island is open from early April until October. There are highlights each month. From the changing scenery to the changing wildlife, no two days or months are the same. The most spectacular, and almost nightly event, is the arrival of the Manx Shearwaters. From March until late September, these amazing birds arrive in their thousands under the cover of darkness to return to their burrows. Rarely do you get so close to such a fascinating wild bird.

Accommodation is available for up to 16 people in private bedrooms which sleep between two and five people. A shared, fully equipped kitchen and communal dining area is also provided. The island buildings have been developed with sustainability in mind, so your stay will also have minimal impact on the environment.

The accommodation is also ideal for group bookings. The communal dining area is ideal for talks and presentations, as is the outdoor sheltered classroom and picnic areas.
